AZORES BIG GAME FISHING 2022 – CARLOS PALHINHA

Há vários anos que, o Clube Naval de Ponta Delgada, possui amantes de Pesca Desportiva.

A pesca com linha e anzol é uma das formas de capturar peixe. Esta arte é utilizada com fins comerciais e de lazer. Pelo prazer de estar em contacto com natureza, o pescador desportivo criou diversas técnicas que utiliza de forma competitiva em concursos ou pelo simples prazer de estar à pesca.

O Azores Big Game Fishing, agora denominado, Big Game Fishing Tournament é o ex libris da seção de Pesca Desportiva do nosso Clube. Organizado pelo Clube Naval de Ponta Delgada desde 2012, a prova tem-se notabilizado pelo elevado prestígio internacional da pesca grossa nos Açores e pelo carisma do Clube a implementar a confraternização. Já está no Calendário Internacional da EFSA (European Federation of Sea Anglers) e em 2018 foi Campeonato da Europa.

Realizam-se também ao longo do ano várias provas de cariz local ao longo da ilha, as quais o CNPDL e Associação Açoreana de Pesca Desportiva do Mar, juntam esforços para que estas tenham sempre boa adesão de participantes.

Sport Fishing

For several years, the Clube Naval of Ponta Delgada, has lovers of Sport Fishing.

Line fishing is one of the ways to catch fish. This art is used for commercial and leisure purposes. For the pleasure of being in contact with nature, the sport fisherman has created several techniques that he uses competitively in competitions or for the simple pleasure of being fishing.

The Azores Big Game Fishing, now called the Big Game Fishing Tournament is the ex libris of the Sport Fishing section of our Club. Organized by the Clube Naval de Ponta Delgada since 2012, the event has been notable for the high international prestige of coarse fishing in the Azores and for the charisma of the Club to implement the fraternization. It is already in the International Calendar of the EFSA (European Federation of Sea Anglers) and in 2018 was Championship of Europe.

During the course of the year there are also several local events along the island, which the CNPDL and Associação Açoreana de Pesca Desportiva do Mar, join efforts so that these always have a good adherence of participants.
